Quiznos Announces Significant International Expansion |
|
Recent Agreements Signed in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Eastern Europe and Dominican Republic with Letters of Intent Signed in India and Brazil |
Quiznos, one of the nation's fastest growing quick service restaurant chains, announced that it will significantly expand its international restaurant operations. The chain has already announced agreements in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. In addition, Quiznos has recently completed deals in Eastern Europe and the Dominican Republic.
Over the last few weeks Quiznos also has completed two important deals. The first is a ten year agreement to develop 100 restaurants in India. Separately, another major agreement in India is currently under negotiation. The second agreement is to develop at least 175 restaurants in Brazil over the next ten years. Discussions are also underway for agreements to introduce the brand in Singapore, Chile and Ecuador. These current and upcoming opportunities should provide enough development opportunities to open at least 500 international restaurants over the next two years
"Quiznos intends to significantly increase its international efforts and expects to achieve continued growth and expansion into new markets around the globe" said David Deno, Quiznos Chief Executive Officer and President.
The company currently has restaurants operating in Canada, Central America, the United Kingdom, Korea and the Middle East.
"The Quiznos brand has been well received internationally,' said Mr Deno. "We have found that customers worldwide are clamoring for better quality food offerings, and the Quiznos brand is known for best-in-class quality."
Mr. Deno has 25 years of restaurant experience with Burger King, PepsiCo and YUM Brands. During that time he has spent a considerable amount of time opening and growing successful restaurant businesses around the world.
